Goals

Municipal Department 17 aims at creating equal rights and opportunities for all people living in Vienna irrespective of their country of origin.

Activities

The department promotes integration policies which concentrate on the potentials of a diverse population instead of on deficits. It supports migrants and refugees learning German quickly, using previous job experiences and getting a good education.
