Mental Health Services for Refugee and Asylum Seekers in Lebanon

This project seeks to provide early screening and comprehensive rehabilitation services to victims of torture, war trauma survivors and sexual and gender based violence survivors among the refugee community. This project will contribute to improving the mental health state and psychosocial wellbeing of 700 Syrian and 320 Iraqis and other nationalities through the provision of specialized mental health services based on a holistic approach.

Activities

The provided mental health services include: psychotherapy, psychological support, psychiatry, neurology, physiotherapy, social counselling, psychomotor therapy (children), educational intervention (children), speech therapy (children), animation (children), and provision of psychopharmacological drugs and coverage of medical tests.
